Never thought I'd get this into it. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Great deities, I was wrong.

Blue Team: Team Mon (Team on! Get it?! *dodges bricks) | Mew (Eevee), Gold (Bulbasaur), Fang (Poochyena, soon Mightyena)
Sky Team: Team Vixen: Mew (Eevee), Kitsu (Vulpix)

Dialogue for Scene
Mew: Next adventure! Timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly! Yeah!
Gold: What the heck are you on this time?
Kitsu: You know the exit's the other way, right?
Mew: I totally knew that!

The more you know:
- The PMD bulbasaur is extra green. I like it.
- Upon researching size, Eevee is so small. Vulpix: 2ft. Bulbasaur: 2ft 4in. Eevee: 1ft. Holy carp. Difference, much?

So I absolutely refused to be a generic starter. I was going to be cubone. Hey, the little trial I had on the computer gave me three results upon multiple quizes: Cubone, Bulbasaur, Squirtle. Okay, I could handle Bulbasaur. But no other generic starter. Nuh-uh.

When I got the game for reals, I planned on retaking the quiz until I got my original result back: Cubone. For a bonus, my partner would be my second result (bulbasaur).

Then I landed Eevee. Eevee. Of all things, Eevee! The lost starter of Yellow. The prevo of Umbreon. A starter with a choice. I can't say no. I'll take Eevee. So I'm an eevee.

I almost took a Totodile partner to name after my Kracko (SS starter, never evolved her <3 I lost my SS...). But I decided I'd be all obscure-referency and take Bulbasaur, thinking of Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur and the 'gold' Bullbasaur glitch icon. Hey, I'd need someone new to show me around the world of PMD, right? His name is Gold, btw. And he shall not evolve.

I figured I'd see how good PMD really was. Interesting concept, and I needed a new DS game or three since the Wii was due to leave for repairs. Guess what? I finished the storyline after being sucked in quite easily. The first thing I said? "I'm getting the sequel."

After confusing research, disappointment that Eevee was lost to the sequel (and replaced by Munchlax. Could there be a bigger insult?! The NERVE. I'm being Vulpix), joy that Eevee was not lost to the sequel (only to Time and Darkness), and finally understanding that Sky is the Emerald to Time and Darkness and I could be Eevee there...

The first thing I got in Sky? Eevee. The partner? Vulpix, for irony (Red and Blue have Ninetales as a prominent character).
